The region of the Rio Mira, flowing through the northern part of the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, is an ideal vacation area for nature holidays.

Sparely populated, this magnificent landscape is suited not only for canoeing: horse riding, hiking and biking offer unforgettable nature experiences.

	The river Mira offers a very special experience, its mouth (estuary) reaching almost 40 km inland. Caused by this geological peculiarity, the high tide reaches the town of Odemira, and is even noticeable a good stretch upriver.
	Along the Rota Vicentina, you'll find here the cyclable routes. Choose your day trip, cycling weekend or activity holiday - through the mountains or close to the coast.
	The Alentejo is unique as riding area in Europe. A net of unfortified ways spreads over this thinly settled landscape and opens the way through cork oaks, the herb-rich garigue and eucalyptus plantations.

im Wandel der Jahreszeiten

Natur-Urlaub kann man im Alentejo das ganze Jahr über machen, wir stellen die passenden Aktivitäten zusammen.

Der Frühling an der portugiesischen Atlantik- Küste zeigt eine spektakuläre Blütenpracht, im Sommer suchen wir schattige und luftige Plätze mit Bade-Möglichkeit, während Herbst und Winter ganz im Zeichen der Vogelwanderungen in Portugal stehen.

 

Die Gegend des Rio Mira, der den Naturpark Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina in seinem nördlichen Teil durchfließt, ist ein ideales Urlaubsgebiet für eien Urlaub in der Natur.

Sehr dünn besiedelt, eignet sich diese spektakuläre Landschaft nicht nur zum Kanufahren: Reiten, Wandern, Fahrradfahren sind hier Aktivitäten, die zu unvergesslichen Urlaubserlebnissen werden.

 

	Der Fluss Mira birgt ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis, seine Flussmündung (Ästuar) erstreckt sich fast 40 km ins Landesinnere hinein.  Durch diese geologische Eigenheit erreicht die Flut, mit einigen Stunden Verspätung, den Ort Odemira und wirkt sogar noch ein gutes Stück weiter flussaufwärts.
	Entlang der Rota Vicentina finden Sie hier die befahrbaren Strecken. Wählen Sie Ihren Tagesausflug, ein Fahrrad-wochenende oder einen ganzen Urlaub - durch's Gebirge oder entlang der Küste.
	Der Alentejo ist als Reitgebiet in Europa einzigartig. Ein Netz unbefestigter Wege breitet sich über diese dünn besiedelte Landschaft und erschließt dem Reiter Korkeichenhaine, kräuterreiche Garigue und duftende Eukalyptusplantagen.
	Auf bestimmte Altersgruppen zugeschnitte Abbenteuer für Familien und kleine Gruppen, Geburtstage und Erlebnis- Wochenenden im Grünen.
	Bei den Wanderungen geht es durch alle alentejanischen Lebensräume: Klippen und Dünen, Flußufer und Salzmarschen, mediterrane Wälder und Haine.

Na Primavera, a costa Vicentina encanta-nos com um espectáculo esplendoroso de flores de todas as cores; no verão procuram-se lugares sombrios onde se possa nadar; depois das colheitas e no inverno são as épocas de caminhadas largas e observação de aves migratores.

A região do rio Mira, cujo caudal atravessa o norte do Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, é uma região ideal para os turistas de natureza fazerem férias. 

Com pouca densidade populacional, esta paisagem magnífica, recortada por montes e vales, convida não só para canoagem: passeios á cavalo, caminhadas e btt oferecem experiências na natureza inesquecíveis.

	O rio Mira oferece uma experiência muito especial, o seu estuário com influência marítima, prolonga-se por 40 kms até ao interior. Devido a esta pecularidade geológica o maré cheia chega não só até à vila de Odemira, mas ainda um bocado mais acima.
	Ao longo da Rota Vicentina encontra ​​aqui as vias aptos prar bicicletas. Escolha o seu dia de viagem, um fim de semana de bicicleta ou umas férias acivas - através das montanhas ou ao longo da costa.
